About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning professional to fill this key role.

Key Responsibilities and Objectives
  • Oversight of monitoring plans for initiatives as part of the MEL team and cross-functional initiative teams.
  • Partnership with impact initiative leads to understand needs and design a fit-for-purpose approach.
  • Development of program logic to describe and/or design each initiative; commissioning and management of external consultants when required.
  • Data collection, analysis, and quality control for data; ensuring it is used appropriately and aligned with indicators in the plans.
  • Responsible for submission of ethical monitoring and reporting.
  • Quality oversight of key deliverables from external consultants (plans, reports, presentations).
  • Design, development, and implementation of a monitoring strategy that meets the needs of an Impact Portfolio.
  • Theory of Change development for an Impact Portfolio and ensuring strategy alignment with organisational goals, approach, and the Theory of Change.
  • Collaboration to ensure indicators and measures of portfolio success are consistent where possible across portfolios and contribute to organisational performance requirements.
  • Effective communication of the strategy across the portfolio with relevant stakeholders and its implementation for the Impact Portfolio with milestones set with senior leadership.
  • Facilitation of sharing and translation of organisational learnings from activities, including development of knowledge-sharing assets and iterative learning within teams.
  • Contribution of evidence from activities to the Institute and promotion of uptake of evidence across relevant teams; promotion of knowledge translation to the men's health sector in alignment with policies.
  • Contribution to continual improvement of policies, processes, frameworks, and tools; attendance at team meetings and advocacy for the use of policies and tools.
