Claims Leadership Position
Establish a Claims Team and Drive Results
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business results in the claims management arena.
- Lead a dynamic team of claims professionals, fostering collaboration, open communication, and effective goal attainment.
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and quality across all claim lifecycle stages.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to drive decision-making.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, collaborating on initiatives that enhance customer service and support.
- Provide training and development opportunities to equip team members with the skills needed to succeed.
- Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a leader within a team setting.
- Background in case management to effectively facilitate outcomes.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Negotiation and influencing skills.
- Knowledge of medical and paramedical terminology and procedures.
- Effective conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Tertiary or relevant qualifications in health/social services desirable.
- Ability to work with various IT applications.
- Understanding of individual challenges.
