Finance Director

A leading Australian property and construction company with a strong presence in Western Australia and Victoria is seeking a highly skilled Finance Lead to join their team in Perth.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a transformation program that aims to standardize, automate, and improve financial processes. As a Finance Lead, you will play a key role in delivering timely and accurate financial reporting, supporting month-end closing activities, and facilitating the review and analysis of management fees and intercompany transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all accounting processes to deliver high-quality financial reporting and analysis.
- Support the production of reports and other data to enable the measurement and reporting of performance metrics.
- Coordinate and assist in the preparation and review of journal entries.
- Facilitate the review and analysis of management fees and intercompany transactions.
- Lead the preparation of stakeholder cash flow forecasts.
- Commercial background with experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a leadership role.
- Qualification in finance or accounting, such as CA, CPA, or equivalent.
- Experience working on finance transformation projects, including process standardization, system improvement, and automation.
- Proficiency in financial accounting and reporting standards.
- Experience working within Australian taxation regulations.
- Proficiency in leading period-close procedures and financial consolidations.
- Understanding of intercompany accounting practices and reconciliation processes.
- Understanding of finance master data management and data integrity controls.
- Proficiency with financial software for journal processing and reporting.
- Support from an experienced mentorship team.
- Exposure to a cutting-edge transformation program.
