The Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Digital Services Officer (CDSO) to drive the digital and information technology strategy at Bendigo Health. As a key member of the executive team, the CDSO will play a critical role in advancing the organization's technological capabilities and ensuring innovation drives improvements in service delivery and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Lead the transformation of the digital landscape, ensuring that IT initiatives support high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize digital projects, ensuring effective resource allocation and project governance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clinicians, managers, and external partners.
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the digital services team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills, resources, and support to deliver high-quality services.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies, ensuring that Bendigo Health remains at the forefront of digital innovation.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in ICT shared services, project management, and change/transformation management. You will also have experience in a senior leadership role within a health-related group or large service-based organization. Additionally, you will have demonstrated knowledge of shared services delivery, strategic management of ICT assets, systems, data, and cyber security.
