Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on current mechanical condition of vehicles.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles sold under warranty.
  • Repair engine, transmission, and suspension systems.
  • Record all necessary work, service or repairs to service manager and use in-house databases or reporting systems.
  • Order parts needed as part of warranty service.
  • Provide guidance and training to apprentice service technicians.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all mechanical issues and changes relating to vehicle product range.
  • Maintain safe working environment through correct operation of tools and equipment.
  • Test drive and conduct final assessments prior to delivery or return of vehicles to guests.

Requirements:

  • Hold a current and valid driver's license.
  • Hold a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
  • Have good organisational skills, ability to manage time effectively and multi-task where required.
  • Be highly motivated and guest service focused.
