Opportunity Overview
WAVELENGTH is seeking a highly skilled Lead Anatomical Pathologist to join our team and lead a collaborative and experienced group in the Gold Coast. This is an excellent step-up opportunity for a Senior Anatomical Pathologist looking to take on a leadership role and drive clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Anatomical Pathology team to ensure a clinically responsive and cost-effective service, while maintaining a reduced clinical caseload to focus on training and mentoring team members.
- Drive clinical excellence through involvement in quality initiatives, such as facilitating internal audits, implementing quality assurance programs, and leading research and continuing professional development activities.
- Act as an advisor to the company and contribute to business growth by developing new service offerings.
Requirements
- Full AHPRA Registration as a Specialist in Anatomical Pathology and Fellowship with the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia.
- Full working rights in Australia and COVID-19 vaccinations.
- Minimum 8-10 years post Fellowship experience and ideally with experience and a strong interest in Skin Cancers.
