Facilities Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to lead our grounds and maintenance team.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a trade background, and experience in facility management. They will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and supervising the effective management of our facilities and grounds.

  • Multitasking and working with tight deadlines, demonstrating strong time management skills and systematic schedules of operation and risk management.
  • A strong understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) regulations and practices, ensuring compliance and implementing safety protocols.
  • Proven experience in maintenance or facility management, ideally in a school or similar environment, overseeing day-to-day maintenance operations, coordinating projects, and managing maintenance staff.

Additionally, the successful applicant will have:

  • Certification or training in a relevant trade (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, electrical) or building maintenance, demonstrating expertise in general repair and upkeep of facilities.
  • Experience with or demonstrated ability in leading a team, a servant-hearted approach to maintenance support with a collaborative mindset.
  • Actively support and adhere to our School's vision, mission, and ethos, having or being willing to obtain a current Victorian Working with Children Check and First Aid qualifications.
