Process Operator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the position of Process Operator.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our cooking oil processing plant. This will involve loading, unloading, and movement of liquids on site, operating and monitoring cooking oil processing equipment, transferring waste from collection containers, cleaning of holding tanks and drums, diagnosing faults in plant and equipment, delivering equipment to customers with company ute, maintaining efficient plant operations, and maintaining a safe and clean work site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading, unloading, and movement of liquids on site
  • Operating and monitoring cooking oil processing equipment
  • Transferring waste from collection containers
  • Cleaning of holding tanks and drums
  • Diagnosing faults in plant and equipment
  • Delivering equipment to customers with company ute
  • Maintaining efficient plant operations
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work site

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have a great attitude with a willingness to learn and operate and monitor refinery processes and materials. Basic mechanical aptitude is also required. You must be able to complete paperwork, data entry, and records, as well as pass a pre-employment medical and drug test. Forklift licence is required and car licence is essential (MR licence highly regarded).
