We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pathology Collector to join our team at Healius, a leading healthcare company in Australia. As a Pathology Collector, you will play a vital role in collecting blood and non-blood samples from patients, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of specimens to our laboratories for testing.
Key Responsibilities- Collect blood and non-blood samples from patients with care and attention to detail
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient samples and test results
- Prepare and package specimens for transport and testing, adhering to strict turnaround times
- Liaise with customers, clinic staff, and couriers to ensure seamless sample collection and delivery

- Transferable skills gained in other positions within the healthcare industry highly desirable
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high level of empathy
- Ability to work autonomously, sometimes working independently in a solo clinic
- Valid Driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics
- Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain one
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency, or a valid visa with permission to work
