Education Professional

The primary objective of the classroom teacher is to facilitate student progress and academic achievement, aligned with the school's strategic plan and state-wide priorities. They contribute to the development and implementation of educational policies and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver lesson plans to achieve specific student outcomes.
- Foster a learning environment that encourages critical reflection and inquiry.
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated expertise in relevant curricula including literacy and numeracy skills.
- Demonstrated experience in responding to student learning needs.
- Demonstrated ability in planning for and implementing effective teaching strategies.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated behaviours and attitudes consistent with Department values.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to integrate literacy and numeracy skills into teaching practices.
- Experience in monitoring and assessing student progress.
- Experience in using data to inform teaching practices and provide feedback on student growth and achievement.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Behaviours and attitudes consistent with Department values.
