**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Health Promotion Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing complex statewide preventive health strategies to improve the health and wellbeing of Queenslanders.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide advanced leadership and program coordination for the development, implementation and evaluation of statewide preventive health strategies.
  • Liaise with diverse internal and external stakeholders to achieve improved health outcomes for Queenslanders.
  • Lead and manage a small team to set direction, motivate, and inspire staff to perform at their full potential.

**Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary degree in Health Promotion or Public Health.
  • Advanced knowledge, expertise, and skills in the development of effective health promotion solutions.
  • The ability to independently lead strategic change through effective communication, consultation, and negotiation skills.
