**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Head Cook to join our team. As the ideal candidate, you will have a proven track record in kitchen management, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality food products.

**Responsibilities**

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and developing a team of cooks to ensure seamless kitchen operations;
  • Aiding in the training and growth of junior staff members;
  • Collaborating with the Restaurant Manager to oversee key metrics such as COGS, labor, and operating expenses;

**What We Offer**

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a bonus structure based on performance. Other benefits include:

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a kitchen / cooking role within a busy hospitality environment;
  • Experience leading and developing a team;
  • Ability to understand, interpret and explain key kitchen financial performance indicators including cost of goods, labor costs and wastage;
  • Certificate in commercial cookery or equivalent experience;
  • Sound understanding of food safety concerns;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
