Packing Room Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Packing Room Supervisor.

  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure accurate processes and daily deliveries in the Packing department.
  • Assist in preparing orders for early morning deliveries with attention to detail and speed.
  • Clean and maintain the packing area at all times.
  • Manage production activity, including order preparation and room clean-up.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Oversee food safety and cleanliness practices of the packing room staff and facilities.
  • Develop and implement efficient processes for all packing tasks.
  • Recommend material, equipment, and machinery needs.

Requirements:

  • Proven managerial experience and leadership skills.
  • Dedication to mentoring and training the packing team.
  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment and HACCP & Quality Control.
  • Familiarity with rostering software.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs and attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

  • Available to work night-shifts and weekends.
  • Shifts are generally available 6pm-2am.
