About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team at The Salvation Army Aged Care. As a Home Care Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support services to our customers who live in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care support, including showering, toileting, and feeding assistance
  • Assist with domestic assistance duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Provide transportation for clients to appointments and for shopping and leisure outings
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and policies to ensure the well-being of clients and staff
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Aged, Community Care or equivalent
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Consent to undertake a National Criminal History Check
  • Experience in the aged care sector
