About the Opportunity

We are actively recruiting Audit professionals at the Associate and Senior Associate level to join our Financial Services Audit teams. Our Auditor opportunities are offered on a flexible full-time basis.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead fieldwork, manage performance, coach and mentor junior team members, and keep engagement leaders updated on audit engagements.
  • Effectively manage Audit processes with consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technical matters, including revenue, financial instruments, and income taxes.
  • Engage clients and provide advice and professionalism throughout transactions, identifying areas for improvement in clients' business processes.
  • Develop your understanding of current market trends and processes, sharing your knowledge to develop junior colleagues.
  • Understand clients' unique ambitions and needs, referring them to colleagues in other teams and areas to broaden business relationships.
  • Expertise in accounting frameworks (IFRS) and related financial reporting matters.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Auditor delivering external audit and assurance engagements to clients in the financial services industry.
  • Experience leading the planning, execution, and reporting on audits.
  • Proven track record in developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a collaborative approach to management.
  • A strong academic record, including a degree and progress towards/completion of CPA/CA ANZ or associated equivalents.
