Electrical Tradesperson - Underground

A challenging opportunity exists for an Electrical Tradesperson to join our team at the Moolarben Coal mine, one of Australia's largest thermal coal producers.

  • Supervise the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of electrical plant and installations at the mine.
  • Monitor electrical equipment to ensure it remains in a fit for purpose and safe condition.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the daily operations of the electrical trade team.
  • Ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
  • Leading by example and promoting a positive safety culture within the mine.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications under the Work Health and Safety (Mines and Petroleum Sites) Regulation 2022 as qualified electrical tradesman.
  • Underground Coal Mining experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
