Key responsibilities

  • Perform deceased donor tissue recovery and sterile tissue processing according to established protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage equipment, supplies and consumables necessary for tissue processing and packaging.
  • Collect, validate and maintain accurate data and documentation for donor and tissue information.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to less experienced practitioners and support staff.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including surgeons, nurses, forensic units and health services.

You are a qualified clinical scientist with strong technical skills in tissue recovery and processing, committed to delivering high-quality services.

  • Proficient in aseptic techniques and tissue banking regulations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Resilient with a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Openness to travel interstate for professional growth and training.
  • Hold a relevant clinical undergraduate degree in medical science, science or a related field.
