Diagnostic Imaging Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MRI Technician to join our client's imaging department in Melbourne. As an integral part of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality MRI images, contributing to accurate diagnoses, and effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate MRI equipment and perform scans as per instructions.
  • Monitor patients during procedures, addressing any concerns or discomfort.
  • Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient data.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
  • Assist in the maintenance of MRI equipment.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to ensure the quality and accuracy of images.
  • Educate patients about the MRI process and answer any questions that arise.
Requirements:
  • Relevant bachelor's degree or advanced diploma in medical imaging.
  • Minimum 3 years experience as an MRI Technician preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
