Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for bridging technology and business value, ensuring the inception, design, delivery, and testing of data solutions that drive our company's success.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute multiple data strategies to support our data platform.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) and advocate for your solutions' value proposition.
  • Prioritize tasks using a clear framework and provide transparent explanations for decisions.
  • Maintain a comprehensive overview of team goals and their alignment with company objectives.
  • Analyse viability, feasibility, and desirability of proposed solutions.
  • Document and demonstrate solutions through the creation of documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and charts.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in agile and product environments as a Product Owner or Technical Business Analyst in the Data space.
  • Proven expertise in supporting and delivering data engineering projects.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Effective stakeholder and relationship management.
  • Familiarity with documenting and monitoring artefacts such as product requirements, process maps, use cases, user acceptance test plans, business models, data models and flows, project plans, and release notes.
  • Experience working with SQL, data models, and databases.
  • Ability to work with data engineers and agile development teams on feature design, definition, documentation, and implementation for web applications, business infrastructure, and data structures.
