Job Title: Health and Safety Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective health and safety procedures, policies, and standards across our operations. This includes monitoring compliance, identifying hazards, and providing training and coaching to employees to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their jobs safely.

Your primary focus will be on maintaining a safe working environment by promoting a culture of health and safety awareness throughout the organization. You will work closely with our experienced WHS team to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address these gaps.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement health and safety procedures, policies, and standards
  • Monitor compliance and identify hazards
  • Provide training and coaching to employees
  • Maintain a safe working environment
  • Work closely with the WHS team to identify areas for improvement
  • Analyze trends from incidents and audits, advising management on improvements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable recommendations. You should have a strong understanding of health and safety principles and regulations, as well as experience in a similar role or industry.
