Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in Perth, WA. As a key member of our automation and underground mining specialist team, you will be responsible for coordinating, implementing, and controlling projects to ensure successful delivery and alignment with our company's strategy, commitments, and goals.
Key Responsibilities- Define project scope, goals, and outcomes
- Plan and manage the overall execution of automation and new technology product deployments at customer sites
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and foster strong working relationships with local and internationally based stakeholders to optimize project execution
- Develop and maintain exceptional relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient mobilization processes
- Manage project quality and play a leadership role in maximizing quality in projects and services
- Ensure appropriate resources and expertise are available to deliver projects, and manage the efficient use of equipment, site facilities, purchasing, and resources
- Manage, support, and direct project teams
- Identify quality requirements for projects, assign delegations, and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Delivery experience in the technology/automation space, ideally within the mining industry
- Experience running teams in asset management is desirable
- Demonstrated team leadership skills
- Experience in risk management and change management
- Experience in delivery of R&D or technology-focused projects is preferred
- Contract negotiation experience
- Able to tolerate stress and uncertainty
