Job Overview

About our organization we offer a challenging and dynamic role within the Cost Control department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee cost control procedures, ensure compliance with contractual requirements and facilitate accurate reporting.
  • You will work closely with project functions to maintain robust Cost Control Procedures and implement a comprehensive Cost Control System.
  • The role involves generating reports on income, expenditure and financial transactions, analyzing project costs and schedules performance against the control plan.
  • In addition, you will supervise the creation of complex schedules, perform reviews, provide an auditing function for projects and suggest corrective action for any non-conformance or weakness detected.

This is a key role in supporting the implementation of Project Controls processes and practices, including initial WBS and Cost coding structures, in conjunction with Onshore/Offshore Controlling Team.

Requirements:
  • A numbers focussed individual with strong interest in analysing complex data.
  • At least 5 years of experience in cost control roles and working knowledge of Accounting and Finance in a Projects environment.
  • Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting/Quantity Surveying or other relevant field.

This position requires experienced skills in Microsoft Excel Visual Basic and interest in Power BI, commercial acumen, understanding of customer/client needs, proven leadership, negotiating and lateral thinking skills, and excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
