About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Equipment Technician to join our team at William Adams, a leading provider of heavy machinery solutions. As a Field Service Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and technical expertise to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site technical troubleshooting and fault finding on Cat equipment and their components
  • Provide outstanding customer service and support to our clients
  • Compile and complete accurate reporting and documentation
  • Work autonomously to manage your time and maximize efficiency
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Liaise with our internal service and parts department
  • Maintain a William Adams service vehicle

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have the following skills, experience, and attributes:

  • Be a qualified Diesel Technician with extensive experience with Caterpillar machines (or similar)
  • Have advanced mechanical diagnostic skills with Cat computer diagnostics knowledge
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with a strong work ethic
  • A strong commitment to safety, health, and environment procedures
  • Hold a current Drivers and Light Rigid Licence (heavy vehicle licence is also highly regarded)
  • Proven ability to be self-motivated and to work unsupervised
