About the role

  • Establish clear objectives, performance metrics, and targets to guide the payroll and reporting teams in achieving agreed service levels.
  • Provide strong leadership and direction, enhancing team members' knowledge, skills, and capabilities through regular coaching and constructive feedback.
  • Promote collaboration and feedback across the HR team and key stakeholders to ensure remuneration and payroll services are effective and aligned with business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all aspects of taxation, superannuation, Award compliance, and contractual obligations.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement when managing complex data sets, aiming to develop, implement, and maintain consistent management controls.
  • Ensure reporting requirements are met to the expected standards and within designated timeframes.
  • Utilize data analysis and statistics to lead the optimization of remuneration and reporting systems, streamlining and enhancing functionality for the HR team, leaders, and employees.
  • Identify and spearhead short, medium, and long-term initiatives that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the remuneration and reporting functions.

About you

  • Qualifications in Business, Human Resources, or Project Management are advantageous.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented, and adaptable approach.
  • Experience and capability in developing HR processes and procedures.
  • Proven experience in interpreting and applying provisions of industrial agreements and Awards.
  • Experience in designing and developing visual analytical data.
