
Financial Leader

We are seeking a Financial Leader to join our team, with a focus on managing financial operations and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in financial planning and analysis, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and perform accounting, statutory and management reporting, as well as FP&A activities for the Australia & New Zealand entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relative regulatory requirements (ANZ GAAP & IFRS)
- Partner with the Finance Director to refine financial operations, strengthen internal controls, and uphold compliance, driving both efficiency and alignment with corporate policies
- Contribute to financial strategy development, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strong financial governance
- Analyse and project financial data, turning insights into actionable recommendations for operational and executive decision-making
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to manage audits and ensure compliance with corporate tax, GST, payroll tax, and all other statutory obligations across ANZ
- Work closely with global finance teams to enhance transparency, streamline processes, and strengthen cross-border collaboration
- Prepare and maintain transfer pricing documentation to support intra-group transactions in line with local legislation
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Chartered Accountant (CA) designation or equivalent professional qualification is essential
- Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience, including team management
- Familiarity with NetSuite ERP is highly advantageous
- Experience in financial consolidation will be well regarded
- Exposure to the FMCG sector and/or multinational environments preferred
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to cultivate and sustain productive partnerships
- Skilled in prioritising and delegating tasks to maximise efficiency and effectiveness
- High standards of integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure
- Exceptional communication skills, with proficiency in English; Chinese language skills are an advantage
