We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Specialist to join our facilities team at Cedar Glen Property Maintenance Inc. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, adhering to HACCP/GMP requirements.
Responsibilities- Conduct both planned and unplanned maintenance on a wide range of equipment to ensure timely and efficient operations.
- Document all maintenance activities using our maintenance management systems and create new work orders as needed.
- Develop SOPs and work instructions for equipment maintenance to ensure consistent and safe practices.
- Maintain tidy and functional workshop spaces in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Participate in regular internal and external audits and complete any assigned action items.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of internal systems and processes.
In this hands-on role, you will work closely with various equipment, from steam boilers and air compressors to bioreactors and HVAC systems. You will also have opportunities to participate in team-based responsibilities and contribute to the growth and development of our facilities team.
The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in a maintenance technician role or as a tradesperson, with experience working with custom equipment and CMMS systems. Exposure to food manufacturing and HACCP/GMP requirements is highly desirable.
