A key role in our team is available for a skilled Carpenter Leading Hand to join us on the Gold Coast. We bring together engineering and construction teams under one roof to deliver projects in building, asset renewal, civil, and infrastructure sectors.

This opportunity is ideal for a tradesperson or a 4th year apprentice ready to take on leadership responsibilities. As a Leading Hand/Carpenter, you will support the delivery of remedial and renewal construction projects, ensuring quality workmanship, safety compliance, and team coordination across various sites.

Job Description
  • Supervise and coordinate daily site activities under the guidance of the Site Manager or Foreman.
  • Execute carpentry tasks including structural repairs, timber framing, cladding, and finish work.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Trade qualification in Carpentry (Cert III or higher).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial or remedial construction preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with QA, Safety, and Environmental systems.
  • Proficiency with site management tools and mobile apps.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
