We are recruiting for various specialist roles in the Mackay region. Our client is a community organisation providing domestic and family violence counselling, crisis response, risk assessment, safety planning, case management, court assistance, information and referral, community liaison and education, and awareness-raising campaigns.

The primary responsibility of these positions is to provide high-quality therapeutic interventions with families affected by domestic and family violence and sexual assault. These interventions may include individual and group therapy sessions, risk assessments, and safety plans.

As a Therapeutic Counsellor Specialist, you will work in partnership with internal teams and external agencies to coordinate effective service responses to families affected by domestic and family violence and sexual assault. You will also be responsible for working with clients to develop and implement safe and effective intervention strategies.

About the Position

This is a part-time/full-time permanent position with ASAP start availability. Salary packaging is offered up to $15,900 per year tax-free, and relocation assistance may be available if eligible. We encourage applications from candidates at all levels within this space.
