Position Overview

We emphasize understanding our clients' needs and delivering a personalized experience. We are looking for instructors who are passionate about swimming and enhancing children's safety in aquatic settings. Ideal candidates should be energetic, engaging, and approachable, using a positive demeanor to build rapport with both children and their families.

Exceptional communication skills and a dedication to outstanding customer service are essential to ensure that our members and their families derive maximum enjoyment and benefit from our programs. Successful candidates will exhibit the ability to effectively engage with students of various ages, abilities, cultures, and backgrounds.

  1. Willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  2. Capability to operate independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  3. Current First Aid (Level 2) & CPR Certification
  4. Working With Children Check & National Police Clearance
  5. Current AUSTSWIM Certification in Teaching Swimming and Water Safety (or equivalent)
  6. Infants Teaching License (training support available for suitable candidates)
  7. AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics (or equivalent)
  8. AUSTSWIM Teacher of Aquatics Access and Inclusion (or equivalent)
  9. Prior experience in teaching infants and toddlers is highly valued
