About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Solution Architect to join our team at Albury Wodonga Health. As a key member of our IT leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the development of architectures for complex systems, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with both external and internal customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide solution design expertise for all AWH's information systems and digital assets to ensure that implementation of AWH's digital vision, strategic plans, initiatives, and individual business objectives are achieved while maintaining the integrity of agreed architectures.
  • Establish the governance, framework, policy, and strategy for the selection of systems architecture components and coordinate design activities, promoting the discipline to ensure consistency.
  • Ensure that the design solutions are appropriately documented, meet any legislative requirements, and provide education and information sharing, ensuring that appropriate corporate, industry, national, and international standards are adhered to.
  • Manage the target design, policies, and standards, working proactively to maintain a stable, viable architecture and ensure consistency of design across projects within the program.
  • Provide advice to the CIO on governance, strategy, systems, and governance, and undertake the management and supervision of staff, vendors, and contractors to meet the IT Enterprise Architectural standards on an as-needed basis.
