Design & Build Recruitment is seeking a skilled Heavy Haulage Scheduler to oversee the scheduling of our asphalt fleet and heavy haulage operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing both internal and customer orders, planning and allocating mobile plant and asphalt deliveries to roadsides, as well as coordinating transport arrangements with both internal teams and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date schedules for all asphalt and heavy haulage operations.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to ensure smooth and safe operations.
  3. Ensure compliance with relevant transport legislation, including HVNL and OSOM.
  4. Manage the daily activities of both company-owned and subcontracted asphalt and heavy haulage fleets.
  5. Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
To be successful, you will have:
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and customers.
  • A solid understanding of Transport Legislation, including HVNL and OSOM.
  • Experience in logistics and transportation management.
  • A proactive mindset focused on driving efficient transport solutions.
