Intensive Care Specialist Opportunity

The hospital's Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides critical care services to patients in the city of Rockhampton and its surrounding district. This regional facility offers a unique combination of adult and paediatric care, with approximately 450-650 presentations per year, including 60-100 paediatric admissions annually. The ICU operates within a team environment, contributing to the provision of high-standard clinical services to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the provision of high-standard clinical services within the ICU as part of a multidisciplinary team in a regional healthcare setting.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist in Intensive Care Medicine with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA). This will require Fellowship of the College of Intensive Care Medicine of Australia and New Zealand (FCICM).
