Job Overview

This is a critical role within our organization that involves locating underground services using various equipment and techniques.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting maps to identify underground services
  • Operating vacuum excavation trucks and other specialized equipment
  • Maintaining high-quality workmanship and adhering to strict safety protocols
  • Communicating effectively with clients and colleagues

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Extensive knowledge of the industry in pipe/cable locating
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in service locating
  • Strong mechanical and electrical understanding
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Additional requirements include:

  • White Card and WA MR Driver's License
  • High-Pressure Gas Accreditation (desirable)
  • Traffic Management accreditation (desirable)

We offer competitive hourly rates and penalty rates as per award conditions. Uniforms and PPE equipment are provided, along with on-site parking.

A successful person in this position will demonstrate a focus on quality, continuous improvement, and health and safety at all times.
