Centre Technician Job Description

The Centre Technician plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. You will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining equipment, and ensuring seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the daily operation of the hose service centre
  • Learn hose assembly, machine/weld, and pipe-bending procedures
  • Attend to customers' needs at the counter and on the phone
  • Perform data entry and stock control duties
  • Pick-up and deliver goods as required

You will be provided with comprehensive training and will work towards advancing to a Mobile Service Technician. You will report to the Operations Manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A strong understanding of customer service principles
  • Good telephone manner and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to carry out instructions effectively
  • Knowledge of the industry or similar field
  • Mechanical background and ability to operate machinery accurately
  • Current Manual Driver's License and computer literacy
  • Well-presented and groomed appearance
  • Strong work ethic and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and solve problems
  • Desire to be a team player
  • An understanding of WHS and Safe Work Practices
  • Currently living in, near, or willing to relocate to Melbourne
