Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Technician to fill the role of Electronics Equipment Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, operating, maintaining and repairing plastic injection moulding machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set-up, troubleshoot, process and maintain plastic injection moulding machines
  • Install, removal and adjustment of all injection moulding machinery and equipment
  • Connection of water, hydraulic and air lines
  • Ability to read drawings and set-up sheets
  • Make adjustments for short, flash, pressure, speed and temperature
  • Ensure molded components meet all product quality criteria including dimensional criteria
  • Verify correct set-up of moulds, presses and auxiliary equipment before machine start up
  • Establish proper moulding conditions

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV or equivalent in Electronics Technology/Mechanical Technology or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in electronic machinery installation, operations, maintenance and repairing
  • Knowledge and experience in plastic injection moulding technology is an advantage
  • Understanding of Sumitomo Demag SEEV-A series, YUSHIN RC/RC11, YUSHIN HAS machines preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills and hands-on skills
  • Able to work in a team environment
