Senior Underground Mining Operations Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational management of an underground mine. This will involve optimizing development designs and stope drill/blast designs to minimize dilution and maximize gold recovery.
Key Responsibilities- Ongoing monitoring and optimization of drill/blast designs to minimize dilution and maximize gold recovery.
- Preparing short-term mining schedules in line with mine targets.
- Liaising with senior engineers on mine planning and schedule priorities.
- Assisting senior mining engineers with productivity rates for longer term schedules.
- Coordinating daily mine production activities to achieve targets.
Success in this role requires a strong understanding of mining operations and the ability to optimize processes to meet business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing mining operations and a strong focus on safety, quality and productivity.
