Quality Transformation Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Transformation Lead to drive excellence in our SAP transformation program.

As a Quality Transformation Lead, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering testing strategy across our complex, multi-year SAP transformation program. This is not a traditional test management role – it's a strategic leadership opportunity to embed robust testing approaches into a DevOps-oriented model, and drive engineering-level quality assurance across a highly integrated SAP landscape.

In this 24 month fixed term contract, you'll champion a culture of quality, build and lead a multi-stream testing COE, and work side-by-side with delivery teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver successful business transformation.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the end-to-end test strategy, aligned with our SAP program and broader enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Oversee the entire testing lifecycle: Unit, Integration, System, UAT, Regression, Automation & Performance.
  • Build and lead test teams across locations, including offshore/onshore resourcing.
  • Develop and manage test plans, scripts, and test data for SAP modules and integrated systems.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Coordinate testing across multiple waves, managing risks in a phased rollout model.
  • Drive implementation of test automation frameworks (e.g. Tricentis Tosca).
  • Lead performance testing strategy to meet load and response requirements.
  • Track, manage, and resolve defects through to closure.
  • Provide clear dashboards, test metrics and status updates to PMO and executives.
  • Ensure all test deliverables are audit-ready and compliant with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in test leadership roles, ideally leading a test COE, with full-cycle SAP implementations.
  • Hands-on expertise across the testing spectrum – from planning and execution to automation and performance.
  • Strong understanding of SAP modules: FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, WM, IBP, PLM and more.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, iterative rollouts in integrated environments.
  • Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and modern QA practices.
  • Proficiency with test tools such as SAP ALM, Jira, and performance testing solutions.
  • Proven stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and leadership capabilities.
  • ISTQB Advanced certification or equivalent.
  • Background in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals or manufacturing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
