About the Job

We are seeking skilled Carpenters to work in our construction crew, performing general carpentry tasks and duties safely and efficiently.

This role involves providing Carpentry support and expertise to other trades and workgroups.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all Carpentry works comply with relevant standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Understand and interpret drawings and specifications to determine materials and installation procedures.
  • Prepare layouts, cut materials, and assemble parts.
  • Erect framework and roof framing.
  • Nail fascias panels, sheathe roofs, and fit exterior wall cladding, doors, and window frames.
  • Repair and maintain existing timber and fittings.
  • Complete formwork installation.
  • Execute work professionally and within timeframes.
  • Ensure all work complies with WHS requirements.
  • Use materials and labour efficiently.
  • Maintain a full tool kit for effective duties execution.
  • Perform administrative tasks accurately and promptly.
  • Operate vehicles and equipment properly.
  • Undertake other reasonable tasks within your skills and abilities as directed.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Essential Qualifications:
  • Trade qualification in Carpentry.
  • Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to work up to 12-hour shifts.
  • Experience in residential, commercial, and industrial maintenance and building.
  • Working at Heights certification.
  • Previous experience in similar roles.
  • Construction Induction (Whitecard).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Class C driver's license.
  • Additional high-risk tickets and licenses advantageous.
