This fixed nightshift role at our Caboolture Sawmill facility plays a vital part in maintaining a safe and efficient plant environment. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will work closely with a small team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and area presentation, supporting production activities effectively.

A typical night shift involves using specialized equipment, such as air pressure hoses, to remove sawdust and debris under machinery. You will also be responsible for cleaning tight or low spaces, working efficiently and safely to minimize risk and maximize productivity.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong attention to detail and commitment to presenting a well-maintained department
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team
  • Proficiency in operating specialized cleaning equipment
  • Commitment to upholding housekeeping standards and identifying areas for improvement

Key responsibilities include participating in job rotation, undergoing further training to enhance your skills base, and working autonomously with minimal supervision.
