Vehicle Maintenance Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles.

About the Position:

  • This role involves performing routine maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles using diagnostic equipment.
  • Key responsibilities include identifying problems with vehicles, explaining automotive repairs/issues to customers, planning repair procedures, testing vehicle parts and systems, and performing basic service tasks such as inspections and periodic maintenance.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience working with BMW or Audi/VW vehicles is required.
  • Demonstrated diagnostic skills and ability to use diagnostic and tire service equipment.
  • Understanding of vehicle-specific systems and chassis codes is necessary.
  • The successful candidate will have their own tools and possess computer skills, including typing technician notes and using shop management software.
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality are also essential.
  • A self-motivated individual who can work well in a team environment and has strong communication skills.
  • Prior experience or training in automotive and engine repair is a must.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data for accurate records are also required.
  • The ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds is necessary.
