About the Role

This position will play an integral role within our Generosity Value Stream, contributing to our commercial success through the development and delivery of bespoke digital products. As a software engineer, you will apply software engineering principles during problem analysis and solution design, leveraging technology platforms, software frameworks, delivery tools, and methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Experience with Java programming language and Spring Framework
  • Deploying and maintaining applications on AWS
  • Kafka and Event Driven Architectures
  • Empirically minded, driven to find data and act on clear information
  • Experience with all stages of product, platform, and system lifecycles
  • Experience of abstract, logical, physical, data, and state modeling
  • Experience across the SDLC, including high-level estimation and business case development
  • Exposure to classic and modern software development and delivery techniques
