Senior IT Developer Opportunity at the University of Adelaide

The University of Adelaide is seeking an experienced Senior IT Developer to join its prestigious team. About the Role

This Full-time, Continuing Opportunity Available position will see you working on implementing new and enhancing existing functionality to meet the strategic needs of the university in PeopleSoft Human Capital Management Software. With extensive experience in software development platforms, you will have technical leadership responsibilities in product development, as well as providing technical guidance and development of more junior staff members, by fostering good technology practices in software development and keeping current with emerging trends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse existing application processes and design and implement improvements using Oracle Certified expertise in PeopleSoft People Tools (version 8.58 or above) and HCM (version 9.2 or above) software: Global Payroll, Absence Management, Employee Self Service, Manager Self Service, Time and Labour, Administer Workforce.
  • Demonstrate ability to understand customer scenarios and requirements, to develop and deliver effective business solutions.
  • Solve problems, work well under pressure and meet deadlines while integrating systems through APIs.
Requirements
  • A postgraduate qualification or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Experience with the Higher Education sector is highly desirable.
Benefits and Rewards

You will enjoy an annual salary of $120,000-$130,000 plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation.
