We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Receivable Officer to join our finance team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Process invoices and payments for accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Manage accounts receivable by generating invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions for both accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts to resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist with month-end closing processes and prepare financial reports related to accounts payable and receivable.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and effective communication with vendors and customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with vendors, customers, and team members.
