Job Opportunity: Experienced Mechanical Fitters Required for Permanent, Full-Time Positions
Estimated Salary: $92,000 - $110,000 per annum (based on 45/hr + 15% for afternoon shift and assuming a 40-hour workweek)
About the Role:
We are seeking two skilled Mechanical Fitters to join our team at Pace Appointments on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidates will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex mechanical and hydraulic systems, ensuring safety and quality standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failures and identify potential issues.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain various mechanical and hydraulic systems, including welding and fabrication tasks.
- Collaborate closely with maintenance and engineering teams to improve production processes and minimize interruptions.
- Document maintenance work accurately, including inspections, repairs, and modifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of safety protocols with a commitment to a safety-first approach.
- Basic knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and software.
- Forklift licence preferred.
