Job Summary

A dedicated Pharmacy Technician is required to play a vital role in supporting the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality pharmacy services.

This is a hands-on role where your technical skills and initiative will directly support optimal patient outcomes across our health network.

In this position, you'll contribute to clinical support, dispensing and distribution, packaging of pharmaceuticals, inventory management and the preparation or manufacturing of medications.
You'll work closely with experienced professionals to ensure quality standards are met and continuous improvement is achieved.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert clinical support to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals
  • Preparing and dispensing medications with precision and attention to detail
  • Assisting with technical training and organisational tasks to enhance team performance
  • Monitoring quality standards and contributing to ongoing quality improvement initiatives

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess a relevant Certificate IV or above, with strong technical and pharmacy skills.

You'll also require demonstrated experience in hospital pharmacy, including supervision and training.

Furthermore, you'll need excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail in high-demand settings.

A strong knowledge of pharmacy practice, systems, and ethical standards of care is essential for this position.
