Job Overview:

We are seeking a Defence Fuel Infrastructure Specialist to join our Operations & Maintenance team at the RAAF Base Williamtown, in the NSW Hunter Region.

Key Responsibilities

The role of a Defence Fuel Infrastructure Specialist is crucial in ensuring the safe and compliant operation and management of aviation and/or ground fuel installations. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Fuel Management: Managing quality, compliance, quantity and availability of fuel and related systems and processes.
  2. Technical Integrity: Ensuring the technical integrity of the fuel, including management of quality control sampling and testing.

To be successful in this role, you will require relevant experience in a similar environment, such as fuel or other high-risk/hazardous processing environments. Additionally, you will need to possess strong teamwork and self-motivation skills, as well as a valid driver's license (HR or HC will be highly regarded).

Safety Requirements: Safety is paramount in this role, and you will be expected to hold or obtain appropriate Defence Security Clearance. Living locally or being willing to relocate to the Darwin region (close-proximity to Williamtown / Hunter Region) is also a requirement.
