About the Role

Raytheon Technologies is currently seeking a motivated Technical Program Manager - Space Surveillance Telescope to join our team in Exmouth, Western Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in helping the Australian Defence Force maximise its capabilities.

Job Description

The Technical Program Manager - Space Surveillance Telescope will be responsible for leading a diverse team of trade and technical professionals that operate, troubleshoot and maintain the SST. The role requirements include team performance, KPI management, customer liaison and maintenance management.

The successful candidate will have experience in Trades, Electronics or Engineering disciplines working with complex Industrial or Defence Systems. A minimum 3-4 years' supervisor experience is preferred, but a highly competent Tradesman or Technician will be considered.

A strong knowledge and experience of PC hardware, networking & peripheral computing equipment including data networks is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the SST at HEH and allocated resources to achieve contract performance targets IAW with contracted requirements.
  • Leading and collaborating within a cross-functional environment to manage, resources and reporting to ensure effective execution of maintenance activities.
  • Ensure Quality & EH&S standards are built and maintained in alignment with company policies.
  • Ensure that maintenance requirements and requests are planned, scheduled and managed in accordance with program priorities.
  • Monitor and control maintenance activities to ensure completion within schedule and required quality outcomes.
  • Practice excellent stakeholder management to maintain effective relationships.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in Trades, Electronics or Engineering disciplines working with complex Industrial or Defence Systems.
  • Preference for a Minimum 3-4 years' supervisor experience but a highly competent Tradesman or Technician will be considered.
  • Previous experience working on High Power devices looked on favourably.
  • Have experience with Programmable Logic Controller systems (PLC) and ladder logic diagnostics.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of PC hardware, networking & peripheral computing equipment including data networks.
Salary and Benefits
