As a skilled gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty of a private estate's gardens and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the estate's outdoor spaces, including gardens, greenhouses, and walkways
  • Weed, mulch, plant, and perform turf maintenance to ensure optimal growth and health
  • Curate the gardens to create visually appealing and inviting spaces
  • Perform pruning, mowing, watering, and other gardening duties as needed
  • Remove cuttings and leaves from the gardens and dispose of them properly
  • Maintain irrigation systems, small tools, and garden equipment to ensure they are in good working order
  • Order and pick up plants and supplies as required
  • Perform routine maintenance on small machinery to ensure it is running efficiently
Requirements:
  • Hold a TAFE Parks and Gardens Certificate III or have at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Be a self-motivated individual who can work independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing excellent service
  • Work efficiently and effectively as part of a small team
  • Possess physical fitness and stamina to perform outdoor work
  • Take pride in your work and strive for exceptional results through resourcefulness and initiative
