About the Position

The Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, building, maintaining, and optimizing cloud-based systems to ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of our cloud environment, backup systems, and Microsoft 365 services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing and administering MS Cloud services (Identity, Exchange, Teams, Intune, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Designing, deploying and maintaining cloud network infrastructure
  • Serving as a technical SME for ICT Operations, guiding on cloud computing security requirements and supporting new technology implementations to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborating with IT Security to align SOE security hardening with PSPF, ISM, ACSC, CIS, and DTA Protected pattern guidelines
  • Developing and enhancing automated processes for reliable solution deployment; managing application packaging and deployment via Intune with IT Security endorsement
  • Participating in ICT Operations device evaluations and ensuring applications and infrastructure perform efficiently
  • Preparing ICT Operations for the continued adoption and utilisation of AI
Requirements
  • Proficiency in MS Cloud services administration and management
  • Cloud network infrastructure design, deployment and maintenance expertise
  • Technical knowledge of cloud computing security requirements and best practices
  • IT Security and compliance skills, particularly in SOE security hardening and PSPF, ISM, ACSC, CIS, and DTA Protected pattern guidelines
  • Automation and scripting skills for reliable solution deployment
  • Application packaging and deployment expertise via Intune
  • Familiarity with AI and its integration with ICT Operations
