The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) is seeking a highly skilled Medical Officer to join our team in a Primary Health Care Specialist role. As a key member of our team, you will provide general practice services to patients in regional and remote Queensland, including FIFO services across FNQ and Cape York.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide general practice services, including history taking, examination, decision making, diagnostics ordering and interpretation, clinical procedures, specialist referrals or secondary care admissions.
- Provide clinical care of an acute or emergent patient, pending the attendance of retrieval services.
- Collaborate and liaise with other care providers to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
- Provide advice to nurses and other health professionals as required.
- Participate in quality improvement activities, including clinical audits and case reviews.
- Registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner.
- 3 years post-graduate experience.
- RACGP – GPT 3 or above, or ACRRM – CGT 2 and above.
- Ability to meet PHC credentialing requirements.
